With this job you should
stay in your neighborhood. Talk to your neighbors about
doing their driveway, walkway, steps and sidewalks. It is
a good idea to have your own shovel to perform the services
offered. You should set aside an hour up to entire afternoon
and charge $5-$15 each house depending on the length of
the driveway and size of the property. Another job you can offer
is scraping neighbors car windows early in the morning before
you go to school and they go to work. You will want to charge about $2 per car per
day. When working outdoors it is very important to wear
the proper attire. Good waterproof shoes or boots, gloves,
hat, scarf, earmuffs, and a heavy jacket. Jeans are usually
enough unless it is very cold then you may want to wear
thermals under your jeans.
